More than 100 people turned up for a special hustings on migration at Victoria Hall, in the run up to the General Election. The event was organised by South Yorkshire Migration & Asylum Action Group in partnership with ASSIST, City of Sanctuary Sheffield and others. The panel included candidates from the Conservatives, Green Party, Labour, Liberal Democrats, Trades Union & Socialist Coalition and UKIP. Questions covered a range of issues on migration related topics such as access to health, free movement of labour and what to do about refugees drowning in the Mediterranean.
