Donations have been pouring in to help new refugees who often arrive with only the clothes they’re standing up in. Volunteers at the clothes bank, run in collaboration with Victoria Hall in Sheffield city centre, have been working overtime to sort and hand out shirts, jumpers and shoes and other clothing. The service is open at the Wednesday drop-in, between 2-4pm and other times by arrangement. City of Sanctuary Sheffield is grateful to the many people who’ve donated items through their church, community group, or in person.
