At City of Sanctuary Sheffield our trustees, Expert By Experience Team, Staff, and Volunteers contribute to our policy development. Policies govern how an organisation functions and at CoSS we believe that a good organisation requires thoughtful, anti-oppressive policies to be impactful. All policy development is done in collaboration with people who have lived experience of the asylum system. This ensures that their voices run throughout our organisation and that we do not replicate the oppression we are trying to challenge.
