Following a spate of verbal and physical attacks in the wake of the EU referendum, a local migration research body has produced a briefing confirming that migrants have exactly the same rights now as they did before the vote.  Migration Yorkshire’s paper can be found on our website here.  The rights of asylum seekers and refugees also remain unchanged.
