“The Sanctuary” is now the official name for our new premises on Chapel Walk.  It was confirmed by City of Sanctuary Sheffield trustees following consultation with supporters, centre users and donors. Meanwhile work will start soon to fit out the first floor with private consultation rooms so we can start hosting pre-booked appointments with partners such as British Red Cross and Citizens’ Advice. We are also delighted to say that Jan Thompson is the new centre manager and will be planning a timetable of operations as soon as the building work is complete.  Jan comes with a strong track record in advice provision, having worked at the Northern Refugee Centre and Ashiana.
