Yesterday (March 18) the government promised that private tenants will not be evicted from their homes for at least three months even if struggling with their rent under emergency coronavirus legislation.
This MUST also be extended to people currently in asylum accommodation. Sheffield organisations have come together to send the letter below to our local MPs, Sheffield City Council and Mears Group PLC, asking them to make sure people currently in asylum accommodation are not moved on in the middle of a pandemic when all support services have closed down.
